Splice Creative has worked with Norfolk Constabulary for a number of years and one of the highlights in our calendar is the annual Norfolk Safer Community Awards (NOSCAs).
Working alongside the event director we help the Constabulary to manage and host their annual awards, recognising excellence among force members and public volunteers in building engagement in Norfolk communities.
These accolades celebrate local police officers and staff, as well as community volunteers who all go that extra mile to help others.
Since its launch in 2008, the NOSCAs have become an important part of the policing and voluntary calendar and we are thrilled to be involved for a sixth consecutive year.
The judges for the NOSCAs 2017 have now shortlisted the nominations for each of the award categories so now we can really start the build up to the big day. Between now and the 12 October we’ll be very hands on with inviting guests, designing trophies, nominee filming schedules, planning menus, creatives for print and managing the seating plan for the event – plus a whole lot more.
With around 250 people expected to attend and 18 award presentations, everything has to run like clockwork and is timed to the second. Every eventuality really must be covered when it comes to event management – especially with our favourite category, the Police Dog of the Year!
