Splice Creative’s work with Rosedale Funeral Home was aimed at developing a more personal side to their marketing and communications. Rosedale is an independent family business offering a personal service to bereaved families in South Norfolk and North Suffolk.
Following an audit of existing advertising, we were able to develop a more consistent appearance to communications with subtle changes to the company’s logo and layout. Using carefully chosen photography and testimonials from clients, newly designed advertising made much more of a personal connection with the reader while taking into account the sensitivities involved.
When Rosedale co-director Simon Beckett-Allen decided to publish a book aimed at the recently bereaved who may have lost the will to cook for themselves, we relished the opportunity to help. Cooking for One contains no platitudes about what a great healer time can be, it is a candid account of the raw pain and utter loneliness that grief can bring about. Those who have opened up about their grief have told it as it really is. Splice Creative managed the project from conception to publication, designing the complete book layout, managing content and styling, print and online sales. The end result is a beautiful book that will help people for years to come. All profits from sales of the book will be donated to Cruse Bereavement Care, whose work in supporting bereaved people in Norfolk and Suffolk is invaluable.
