Derby City Council hosts DASH Services, an initiative for the private rented housing sector offering advice and training for local authorities, landlords and tenants.
We were approached by DASH after they saw video production we had carried out for Safe Suffolk Renters bringing powerpoint presentations to life through green screen or chromakey video. They commissioned us to produce training sessions which were delivered by their team. These sessions can now be shared with relevant parties without the need for the team to present in person and allows the viewer to watch the professionally produced content at their leisure.
Filming actually took place in the Council Chamber but the green screen can be used almost anywhere providing there is sufficient ceiling height and ideally the ability to darken the room. We have even filmed sessions for other companies in a reasonable sized living room.
DASH have now gone on to commission Splice Creative to recreate an entire series of advice leaflets on a range of housing subjects. This project is currently in production.
