We designed a brand new ecommerce website for this Norfolk family builders merchants allowing them to grow their online product base and attract new customers.
George Tufts & Son Ltd contacted Splice Creative following a recommendation from another client to create the foundation for an ecommerce website with plenty of scope to build on in the future.
The previous Tufts site made reference to the wide range of products available, however it was difficult to navigate.
We took their brief of keeping key features from their existing site but showing products off in a bolder way which was made easier by launching the site on the popular Shopify platform.
We have just launched our fantastic new website which shows off about half of our vast product range and has the ability for customers to request email quotations. One specific request from Tufts was to allow the building of quotes for clients within their new site.
Although this isn’t typically a feature of a standard Shopify site, we were able to combine our knowledge with expert coding assistance to make this possible. The site still has the option to utilise further e-commerce tools at a future stage.
Following some training, the team at Tufts quickly grasped the basics of using the platform and have added many hundreds of products themselves, giving them the freedom of expanding the site with occasional backup from us when required.
