George Tufts & Son Ltd

George Tufts & Son Ltd is a well-established family builders merchants, operating successfully in Norfolk for more than 75 years.

They approached Splice Creative following a recommendation from another client to create the foundation for an e-commerce site with plenty of scope to build on in the future. The previous Tufts site made reference to the wide range of products available, however it was difficult to navigate.

So instead, we have created a great looking new site based on the popular Shopify platform allowing users to search for products by category – but specially modified to allow the building of quotes for clients. The site has the option to utilise further e-commerce tools at a future stage.

Following some training, the team at Tufts quickly grasped the basics of using the platform and have added many hundreds of products themselves, giving them the freedom of expanding the site with occasional backup from us when required.
