Queen of Cats, a boutique breeder of British Shorthair and Ragdoll cats, asked Splice Creative to design a visual brand identity and create a new website to showcase their work and, of course, their kittens. It definitely has the ‘ahhh’ factor!
We chose some muted soft greys and purples to fit puurfectly with the subjects of the website, giving viewers that great first impression when viewing the kittens and cats featured on the site. Aside from the images, we have given the content a very personal touch as the breeder carefully raises the kittens in a family environment so we were keen that this came across in the imagery and copy used throughout the site.
The brand identity needed to be versatile across web, social media, print and potentially merchandise too. Using silhouette-style graphics along with carefully chosen typography, Queen of Cats shows a regal yet personable identity to existing and future clients.
